Evening talks: presentation by Society committee member James Dunnett on 150 Years of Housing in London, which will take place on Thursday 18 May at 7.00 pm in the Town Hall (Committee Room 1).

The design of socially-provided housing has from the start reflected ideals of human life and urban form. With the provision of more housing high on the current political agenda, questions of where and in what form it should be provided are very relevant. James Dunnett will address those questions in the light of housing and urban history.

James is a distinguished local architect, who worked for eight years on housing for Camden Council in the 1970s-80s and before that for noted housing architect Ernö Goldfinger.

The meeting is open to all without prior notification or registration.
