A practical guide to retrofitting historic buildings

Islington Council has just concluded its consultation on the retrofitting of historic buildings to comply with environmental targets. Part of this consultation was the presentation to The Islington Society in January of its new guidelines by members of the planning team. The Islington Society wishes to take this further by offering practical advice and case studies to show what the options for renovations are. Our guide will be leading local restoration architect Alex Butterworth of the Studio KA Practice and her colleagues. This is an open meeting and we look forward to welcoming members and non-members.
